Big Walgreens Sale Aug 2nd-8th

Wow! I haven’t seen a sale this good at Walgreens in quite some time. Combine it with the coupons coming in this Sunday’s paper (My local paper gives the coupons to us on Friday because there isn’t a weekend edition.) and it is really awesome!
Special K, Raisin Bran, Frosted Flakes and Fruit Loops are 2/$5 with a $2 Register Reward. Add a $1/2 coupon and pay 2/$4 and have a $2 Register Reward toward your next purchase. (Some people take the RR off the purchase price, but I prefer to take it off my total after I use it because it could expire or get lost. You don’t really really get the savings from RR until your next shopping trip.)
Buy $10 in Kellogg’s products listed and get $5 in Register Rewards. You could try buying 10 small boxes of Cheez-Its for $10 and getting a $5 RR plus sending the receipt in for the yearly Kellogg’s rebate, but I already did my rebate at Martins, so I’m combining coupons and sales to spend $10-$3 in coupons and getting a $5 RR.
Buy 8 or more participating Unilever products and get $10 in RR. I’m buying Skippy PB and Ragu 2/$4=16-$4 in coupons=$12 and a $10 RR.
There’s also a buy $15 of participating Colgate Irish Spring and Softsoap products get $5 in RR offer. I may or may not do this offer, but the important thing about it is that it states “Coupon savings in most Sunday papers!” right in the RR offer, which is a good thing to be able to show any cashiers that tell you you can’t use coupons and get a RR.
Finally, the back page has an offer for RR back on Vitamin shampoo and Gum toothbrush 2 packs.
