Allison takes a big box of clothes to Scanlon. While he grabs a call, Allison hears someone screaming, “No, please! Don’t hurt me.” She picks up a photo and sees a scene.
10:11
It doesn’t look good for the detective under cover.
10:12
Allison forgot to get Ariel to the dance tryout and is a tad grumpy. She goes to bed with a headache.
10:13
She dreams about a meeting with the man who stopped in for dinner, where she tells him she has a lead on the killer who murdered his wife and masacred her family.
10:14
She wakes up crying to a phone call from Devalos.
10:15
Okay, she meets the man who lost his wife in person when she goes to the dead detective’s house. Allison, run away!
10:20
Allison is freaking out. She’s talking to Joe, who gets annoyed that she is upset with his reaction.
10:22
Joe recommends that she stops working in law enforcement for the sake of her family. Of course, if she is convinced that her family is going to die anyway, what’s the point. Instead, she should do her job like her life depends on it.
Wow, Joe is brave. |
10:23
She’s in the office at the crack of dawn and talks to the agent with the deceased wife. He shows her his boxes of files.
10:23
And back at the house, Allison has written the kids names on notes and then gibberish.
10:24
Her head still hurts, judging by the drugs she just swallowed down.
10:26
She looks at a picture and sees Castillo. She goes in to tell Devalos where to find him and everyone in the task force just stares. She gets impatient and Devalos says, “Allison, your nose.” She passes out.
10:28
Allison is visiting the clinic, where she asks for drugs for pain. She explains that she had tumor surgery. He dismisses her and she starts to leave, only to have him ask to see the scar. She shows it to him. Yikes.
10:33
Allison’s doctor talks about the tumor with her and with Joe. She says the garbled notes are a symptom.
10:34
The doctor wants to schedule the operation for the next morning. Allison says she is fine with that. “That’s excellent.”
10:35
Joe is planning to get the girls and bring them to the hospital. She orders him to get out of Phoenix. To get as far away as possible. He refuses.
10:36
She begs him. She doesn’t want to survive this if she can’t have her family. He says he will take the kids to his sister’s, but he won’t leave.
10:37
The agent visits to update her on Castillo. They found his stuff, but not him.
10:38
He swears that he isn’t going to let the things Allison sees happen and neither will she.
10:42
Allison dreams she is packing her bags when Devalos stops by and asks why she said goodbye. He wants to know if she is planning suicide. She says she is going out of town for a bit. He asks her to put it off and come work for him. She says she hasn’t dreamed for a year.
He says she could be a paralegal. She doesn’t accept. She says if she just put off the surgery, her family would still be alive. |
10:45
Joe is talking away to Allison, who isn’t there. She left the hospital. After that dream, I would have done the same thing.
10:46
Joe is mad.
10:46
Allison says, “I need to keep dreaming. I need to know how to save you.”
10:47
She tells him she loves him more than anything and hangs up.
10:47
She’s in a hotel dreaming.
10:49
She’s in a car, spying on a truck. She sees the killer with a sling on his arm. She puts down the binoculars and picks up a gun. But there is a sedan coming. She picks up the binoculars again and sees the agent.
10:49
He sold out his wife? She’s standing in the garage just waiting.
10:50
Ah, she cut the gas line and shut the door. She doesn’t care if she dies. She’s taking them both with her.
10:52
“Daniel, explain to me how you can take money from these people after what they did to your wife.” He was taking money beforehand.
She ignores an offer to walk away rich. She just wants to see her family, but there’s only one way that will happen. Castillo hesitates and she says, “You’re right. Ladies first.” Then she pulls the trigger and they all blow up. |
10:53
That’s ending the season with a bang, huh? I hope she can figure out where Castillo is from the dream.
10:55
Devalos is waiting for the agent when he gets to the office and tells him they are going to take Castillo down. He hurries into another room to put down his briefcase and texts a warning to Castillo. Allison confronts him and calls Devalos to come in.
10:56
Scanlon offers to arrest him and take the phone by force. He knows the deceased detective, Ruiz and his son.
10:56
He hands over the phone, but Allison collapses.
10:57
Allison is rushed to surgery. Castillo is arrested.
10:59
The surgeon comes out and tells Joe that the procedure itself went well, but Allison had a stroke. She is non-responsive and they can’t wake her. She may be in a coma for life. And then we see a montage of her waking up from a thousand dreams. The show ends with her in bed with a head bandage and the steady beep, beep, beep of monitors.
11:00
Agghh! We have to wait til next season to see her wake up? At least it will be a lot sooner than if NBC was still doing Medium!
